EX Intruder Detection & Alarm Systems
The SX EX PIR MOTION DETECTOR is a member of our unique SX product family, specifically designed for use in hazardous (Ex) environments.
The alarm variant of the sx ex pir motion detector has been designed for compatibility with industry-standard alarm systems. This variant uses a triple end-of-line (teol) output loop, the resistances configured at the manufacturing point. Using this teol output, the detector can communicate tamper and fault states and report detected motion.
Additional security features have been included in this variant of the sx ex pir motion detector. The unit will report the removal from its mounting position, removal of the lid section and covering of the lens whilst the teol output is inherently safe from attacks to the wiring.
The alarm-compatible sx ex pir detector offers user-configurable detection sensitivity, anti-mask sensitivity and a number of factory configurable lens types and teol resistances for integration with different alarm systems.
